At Insight Academics, we recognize that children with ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and other developmental differences often require support that extends beyond traditional academic instruction.
Insight Academics provides individualized, strengths-based programming designed to help children and youth develop the practical skills needed to navigate daily routines, manage responsibilities, communicate their needs, and participate more independently at home and in their communities.
Executive Functioning & Independence
Developing skills in planning, organization, task initiation, time management, flexible thinking, and following multi-step routines.
Emotional Regulation & Self Advocacy
Helping children recognize frustration, develop coping strategies, communicate their needs, request assistance and build confidence managing everyday challenges.
Adaptive & Developmental Skill Building
Supporting independence with age-appropriate routines, problem solving, transitions, following instructions, and completing daily responsibilities
Social Communication & Participation
Building skills in perspective taking, collaborative problem solving, navigating social situations, and participating in group and community activities.
Parent Coaching & Practical Strategies
Helping parents understand their child's learning and developmental profile and implement consistent, practical strategies that support independence across everyday environments.
Some families receiving support through Alberta's Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program may be approved funding for behavioral, developmental or aide supports.
While our services align with a child's approved support goals, Insight Academics can discuss potential service options with families and their FSCD caseworker.
FSCD Funding is not guaranteed. Eligible provider requirements, and approval of individual services are determined by FSCD. Academic tutoring, educational assessments and school-based educational support are not FSCS funded services.
